Bob was a very active man. A important member of the community. He knew many people touched many lives and we are proud to be able to say that he touched ours too. We may have only known Bob for short years but he left a big impression on us. Our memories of Bob may not be a lot but the are precious to us. From putting on the coffee at Pete's and then going out to wake Gary up for his trip south. To delivering a green pick up to our front door. To the cinnamon donuts at Wades grocery store. And then to hear the stories he told us at our resent visits. He was a man full of life that enjoyed every aspect of his life. May your memories help you through this difficult time and warm your heart.

With our sympathy,
Gary & Debbie OBrien

I am sending along an e card as well. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Bob with a smile on his face and a hearty laugh - he was a kind and generous soul and will be greatly missed by many.

So sorry to hear of Bob passing. I am his second cousin and I didn't know him real well, I knew Dick and Henry better, but he still was family. My mother was Evelyn Luther Taynton. I did meet him at Whitneyville's Turkey banquet. R.I.P. Bob Marilyn Taynton Messner.
