I just read that Rose has gone on to glory. My mother (Margaret Howell) attended BPW with Rose. I had the pleasure of meeting her when I visited mom and attended BPW meetings. Rose was a special lady. I sent cards to Rose on my mom's behalf and continued to do so after mom's death in 2010.

To the family of Rose Classon: Rose was a Chemung Volunteer Action Corps (former RSVP) volunteer for nearly 29 years donating 623 hours of her time to serving others in our community. We truly appreciate folks like Rose. Please know that you are in our thoughts at this time. Sincerely, the CVAC staff.

Years ago I gave rides to Rose so we could attend Church Women United and Council of Churches' gatherings together. She was a strong woman of faith and an example to us all. She will be missed.

Rose was such an amazing lady and dear friend. We shared many cups of tea, dishes of spaghetti, and other tasty treats along with stories with much laughter. I missed Rose when she moved to MD, but never forgot her. I love you Rose. God Bless the entire Mullin Family during this difficult time. Love, Linda
