I am very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We were good friends in high school, we stayed in touch during our military years and through e-mail years after. Steve was a most interesting and true friend and I will miss his presence.

I was shocked to see the name of my childhood best friend in the obituaries.
Steve and I were best buds all through our years at St. Patrick's and I was heart broken when he moved to Horseheads.
Although we kept in touch and I moved to Horseheads a few years later, it was never the same.
I did keep up with him for a while and visited him when he was at SUNY Albany, but not after he left Albany.
I remember how we never made the St. Patrick's baseball or basketball teams, but had great games at the grove park, and Billy Drohan's driveway. Often I see someone that played at those locations and we reminisce.
It was interesting to see that he also went into the college education field as I have done. Maybe that explains some of how we got along.

I am very saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He was always smiling and had such a wonderful sense of humor. May you be comforted in your loss.Nancy (Warnken) ParsonsClassmate HHS

I am sorry to hear of the death of your brother/son. He certainly did a lot with his life. I was good friend with Patti in high school. I remember your mom doing our hair. Life is short and we need to appreciate one another. Love and comfort to your family. Love, Sue Swanson Johnson
