Shore 'crabber,' visited family often in Calabria, of Elizabeth, 63
Anthony Sacca, 63, of Elizabeth, N.J., passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements are by the Corsentino Home For Funerals, 620 Second Avenue, corner of John Street, Elizabeth, N.J. A Celebration of life Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
Anthony was born in Calabria, Italy and came to Elizabeth, N.J., when he was 9 years old. He worked for Tuscan Diary for over 35 years before he was employed by the City of Elizabeth, Department of Public Works ,in 2006.
He was a proud member of the Sons of Peterstown S.C.
Anthony was a hardworking man and had no problem getting his hands dirty to help anyone who needed him. He made friends everywhere he went and cherished his lifelong friends.
To know him was to love him and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his family they were his number one priority.
To say he adored his daughter, nieces and nephews is an understatement; they were his his life.
Anthony was an avid "crabber," spending many days down the Jersey Shore at his secret spot bringing home bushels of crabs to enjoy.
He enjoyed his many trips to Calabria, Italy, to visit his family just as much as he loved them coming to visit him.
A devoted father, son, brother and uncle. Anthony is survived by his loving daughter, Gabriella; Mother Maria Antonia Sacca (née Condina); siblings, Stefano (Delores), John (Louise), Tina Siclari (Anthony), and Luiggi (Laura); nieces and nephews, Stefanie (Mike), Michael (Angie), Brian, Juliett, Antonio, Gianna, Isabella, Luiggi, Lucca, Joseph and Melina, also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Anthony was predeceased by his father, Antonio Sacca.

Nino was a great friend!! Always laughing but most of all if he loved you , you became family with a unbreakable bond . He would go out of his way to make your life better and always check up on you to see if you where ok . He would always call you by a nickname that he gave you that always would put a smile on your face no matter what mood you where in !! Rest In Peace my friend!! I cant believe you left us !!
