Career nurse, musician, 'her life epitomized love thy neighbor'
God sent an angel on Saturday, July 4, 2020 to escort Carlette Sabrina Parker from earth to receive heaven's reward.
Carlette Sabrina Parker born on June 11, 1960, she was the middle daughter of the late Carlisle S. Parker Sr. and Anne G. Parker. Carlette graduated from Montclair High School and attended Rutgers University in Newark, NJ where she sang in the Rutgers Chorale. She received her degree as an LPN practicing for over 30 years.
Carlette was a kind, giving, no-nonsense person who possessed many musical and supernatural gifts. She loved people and approached everyone without judgment. She was an active member of Chosen Generation Church in Newark NJ for 17 years. Her life was the epitome of "love thy neighbor as thyself."
She is survived by her two children, Shani Najath Parker-Richardson and Shomari Richardson; three grandchildren, Kari, Ya'Zhyiah and Ma'Kayla; two siblings, Carlisle S. Parker Jr. and Candace S. Beach; also a niece and a nephew, as well as a host of cousins, friends and people whom she loved and considered family.
The family would like to thank all whom have shown their love by generous acts of kindness, calls, visits and prayers.
