Frank J. Gabriel
Frank Gabriel, 77, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:30 am in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Ave., Verona, NJ. Facial masks must be worn and social distancing observed.
There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 5-9pm at Ariane Kitchen & Bar (AKB), 706 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, NJ.
Born in Newark, Frank lived in Verona and Little Falls before settling in Clifton more than 30 years ago.
He graduated from West Side High School. He held both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Wagner College and worked as a teacher in Belleville prior to forming "Frank Gabriel Diamonds" in New York City over 40 years ago.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, MaryAnn and Ben Gabriel.
He is survived by his two sons, Ben Gabriel and Dean Gabriel, daughter-in-law, Katharina and grandchildren, Benjamin and Julienne Gabriel. He is also survived by his brothers, Matthew Gabriel and John Gabriel.

I have known Frank through his jewelry business in NYC for the last 30 years. Through that time
frank and I became good friends. He was such a kind person, always looking to help me out with anything. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family and grandchildren.

Frank and I were roommates for awhile at Wagner with Bob Gall. I played baseball with Frank, and I can truly say what a great guy he was... would do anything for you.

I was so saddened to learn about Franks passing. My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. Frank was well loved and respected. He had a great character and a big heart. He was a great friend who will surely be missed. RIP
