I'm so sorry about the passing of Fred. I will forever remember him calling Cleveland's championship. My heart goes out to his wife and kids as well as his basketball family. May Jehovah comfort them during this difficult time.

Always looked forward to Fred's visiting New Orleans and the Pelicans. My condolences to his family and his Cavs family. He was one of the good guys in broadcasting and he will be missed.

Fred was special to me. His enthusiasm came through and lifted me whenever he was on the air. I Ioved his imaginative use of words in his delivery, his sense of fair play and honesty. I share with your family a profound sense of loss of the joy we knew while being Fred's presence.
