Lois May Boeninghaus
Devoted mother, talented artist; remembered for her kindness
Lois May Boeninghaus, 68, of Kenilworth, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, surrounded by her family at her new home in Morristown, N.J.
She was the widow of Ralph Boeninghaus; they shared 36 years of marriage together.
She is survived by her three brothers, Kenneth, Richard and Howard Vaux and their families. Also her son, Clay Boeninghaus; daughter, Leah Venditti; stepchildren, Lisa Egles and Cynthia Ziobron; grandchildren, Elizabeth Villanueva and Jason Egles and five great-grandchildren.
Lois was born on Long Island on Nov. 1, 1951, the youngest of four, to Kenneth and Lois Vaux. She was a devoted mother, talented artist, potter, weaver, painter, animal lover, chef and baker.
She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and consideration for everyone that came into her life. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
As per her wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held with her family. Memorial donations may be given to the ALS Association.
