Robert T. Mulcahy
Beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle; Verizon technician
Robert T. Mulcahy, 52, passed away Jan. 12, 2019. Born in Jersey City, N.J., and raised in Cranford, N.J., he lived in Fanwood, N.J., for the last 13 years.
Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral is 8:30 a.m. Thursday from the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West, Cranford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bartholomew's Church, Scotch Plains, N.J. Interment is in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J.
A graduate of Cranford High School and Lincoln School of Technology, Robert was a facilities technician for Verizon in South Plainfield, N.J.
He was predeceased by his father, James.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Rosanne (Amato) Mulcahy; his loving mother, Rita (Reilly) Mulcahy; his brother, James and his wife, Barbara; his brothers-in-law, Jack and Philip Amato; his nieces, Brittany, Kaitlyn, and Samantha Mulcahy; and his nephews, Anthony Amato and Ian Halucuk.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Robert Mulcahy, dedicated to Nicholas Swandrak, to The Valerie Center, Morristown Medical Center, 100 Madison Ave., Morristown, N.J. 07960.
