Our condolences to Rosemarie's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rosemarie was Lauren's mentor when she joined Orphaned Pets nearly 15 years ago. She taught her so much about dogs, fostering and adopting. Lauren continues with OP with the love and devotion that she saw in Rosemarie. She will be forever missed.

So sorry about the passing of your dear Rosemarie. I met her eight years ago when I adopted my Shih Tzu Lacey in Caldwell at one of her events. I had lost my Brandi on October 16th and I adopted Lacey on Oct. 25th. She put Lacey in my arms and I took her home that day. I was so moved by her compassion and love for animals that I continued to support Orphaned Pets and then Rosemarie's Rescue and sent her updates and photos of my pup. My friend adopted from her as well when Rosemarie asked me if I knew of a good adoptive home. My Lacey was a puppy mill rescue and she was only out of the mill two weeks when she came to me. She had been fostered by Rosemarie and went back to her home a few times for boarding and slept right in her bed with her. I knew she was ill but hoped she would get well and be able to continue her wonderful work with the rescue. I know her mission will go on and she will never be forgotten by all the pets she placed in homes and the people who were blessed by her kindness and love of her sweet former orphans. With my condolences...... Sharon Carroll Reilly
