My condolences to Suzanne's Family. I taught at St. Brendan School where she and her siblings attended. I taught Daniella, her sister. I remember how lovely she and her entire family were. They were all loving, dedicated and kind. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

I took Prof McIntosh's course on Big Data Analytics and she was amazing. Her course introduced me to the world of Big Data. She was also kind enough to refer me for a job at IBM .I always remember her enthusiasm and the happiness she found in her students' success. My deepest condolences to her friends and family and I hope they find strength in these tough times..

Prof. Suzanne McIntosh is not only a responsible teacher but inspiring mentor. Also, she is a supportive person, just like students' mother. Because of Suzanne, I started my career as a big data engineer. I still remember that she spent lots of effort to write a recommendation letter for me about job position in Mayor Office. I will always remember her kindness and grace. Thank you and Rest in Peace, Prof. McIntosh.

I will always remember Professor McIntosh as one of the nicest, most empathetic human beings I have had the opportunity of meeting in my life. She would always go out of her way to help all her students. I wish I had the opportunity to tell her in person how special she was to me. Her course at NYU remains one of the highlights of my time at NYU and I will always cherish all the conversations that we had during our meetings in and outside the class. Your passing has left a void that will be impossible to fill. I will always remember your warmth and kindness towards me and I will try my best to extend that kindness and warmth towards others.

I just have so much love for you in my heart. It feels like I have lost a mentor, a teacher, a motherly figure. You always believed in me and went out of your way to help me each time. No words are enough to express this grief. But it was truly a gift to know you. I hope to follow your footsteps in life. You were a candle that lit 1000's of other candles. I hope your family gets strength to go through these tough times.

I took my first computer science class with Professor McIntosh. She had always been motivating, kind, inspiring, and certainly a representative for women in STEM. Without her help I would never had continued pursuing a STEM degree. My deepest condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.

As one of her students, I can say that Professor McIntosh was an incredibly kind and wonderful professor who genuinely cared about each one of her students. She always had interesting stories from all of the cool things she did working in the industry, which showed the incredibly deep level of expertise she had. Professor McIntosh always encouraged her students and helped many see that they too could pursue their dreams in computer science/ data science. May she rest in peace.

I would not have pursued a computer science degree had it not been for the kindness and encouragement that I received from Professor McIntosh in my freshman year of college. Having an incredible female role model in the field such as herself has helped me to have the confidence to know that I can succeed within the industry. I feel very lucky to have been able to know her as a professor and a mentor for the time that I did. My deepest condolences to her family.

Im Justin. I’m a student of Professor McIntosh at NYU MSCS. She is a great professor. I just transferred from other fields to computer science and I had limited knowledge in it. It was really struggle since most classmates already knew a lot and I really couldn’t follow. While in her BDAD course, she patiently answered all my rookie questions and helped me a lot to know more about the computer science world. I appreciate her a lot and May her Rest In Peace.
