I have many memories of Beverly as she was my next door neighbor while growing up. She always had a big smile and a big hello when I would come home and she would be gardening in her front yard. She was an elegant lady. Much love to Bobby, Ann and Bunny - Cyndy Copus Fisher

I have been friends with Beverly for the last five years, visiting with her weekly, singing and, especially in the early days, chatting about things that interested her. She told me all about her "handsome" husband Eugene and how they helped found the Austin Traditional Jazz Society. She was so proud of that. Together we would watch the changes in the trees and the birds outside her window. And we would sing. Up until very recently she always sang along on songs like Sentimental Journey, Over the Rainbow and You'll Never Know. Even when she didn't sing, she'd tap her hands and feet in time to the music. The bright spot of those days for me was walking into her room and hearing her say, "Oh goody, goody!" when she saw that her "singing friend" was here. Beverly became a big part of my life. I loved her very much and I will never forget her.
