David was a dear and singular man, joyful, gentle, playful, generous, profoundly peaceful, richly questioning. There is a hole in the fabric of the universe.

Carol, we're so sorry to hear of David's passing. While we knew him mainly through our association with you, we certainly have respect for all that you have accomplished together. Please know our thoughts are with you and the kids...who are not kids anymore!

Warmest regards,

Falba & Paul Turner

Carol

I count myself blessed for the brief time I got to know Bear at the farm. He always greeted me like I'd been part of the Wellesley gang forever. My favorite Bear memory is of the time he brought out 3 or 4 paintings he'd done for his meditaion group. Several were still wet and stretched out on the grass to dry while he told me their stories.

With sadness and a full heart I send much love to you, my friend.

Carol, after reading David's obituary I am truly sorry that I did not have the pleasure of knowing him as he certainly was a treasure. The wonderful thing about a life so well lived is that it will be remembered by so many for so long.
