Elora Jane was a wonderful cousin who, for a month in 1974, came to Ft. Worth from Austin to help my dying mother Betty Brice Martin Johnson, my father Arthur, and my little sister Lolly. For this loving and caring deed by Elora, we in the Johnson family will eternally be grateful to her. In addition to her kindness, we appreciated Elora Jane's devotion to family, her strong faith, delightful sense of humor, and admirable green thumb. She rests in peace, but will remain treasured in our memory.

Elora was a blessing for our family during our mother's final days. I will always remember her kindness in coming to Fort Worth to help my dad and 13 year old sister when they were struggling to deal with the tragedy' that comes with losing a beloved wife and a mother of a young child.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. .

I remember your mother's beautiful garden. She was so gracious to open it to all. My family had a lovely photo taken there which was our Christmas card. My wish is that all the happy memories will comfort you during this sad time.

May God be your strength in this time of sorrow Matthew 5:4 "Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted."
