I will miss you, Flo....jan
January 15, 2018
Flo was part of my morning art classes. I was and am so honored that she chose me to be her teacher and would drive from Wimberly to New Braunfels every week. She was always the first to arrive and with bells on! She was always so much fun and so excited about her art. Rest in peace, sweet Flo. We will miss you.

I met Florence and Alma and Mrs. Street at Naus Pharmacy, at breakfast, more than fifty years ago. We were regulars then and I believe I may be the only surviving one from that era now. We became friends, and Flo was the bubbly one who eventually invited me to go horseback riding with them.

We stayed in touch now and again simply because Flo and Alma would continue show up for breakfast from time to time at Naus even into this decade.

Florence was creative and talented and possessed a genuine and unaffected warmth and good humor. My condolences to her entire family.

Deepest condolences from Sharla Feller & Darlene Klitgaard to Cheryl & John and the entire family, "Flo" will be sincerely missed. I was blessed to be friends with her children in high school at Westlake High. Ms. Flo was a talented artist whom I loved to visit. Her home always smelled of oil paint and linseed oil, it was a special treat to visit her painting room when I was visiting Cheryl. She was a vibrant, loving person who always saw the beauty around her and was blessed with the talent to illustrate her vision. She leaves me with wonderful, fun memories, a wonderful funny character that I was blessed to know. She is missed and we were all blessed to know her. Thank you for sharing her with us "girls" Cheryl!
