I am the Sun as I light up the day and she calls me Miss Sunshine
She is the moon and though it is dark she shines brightly as the stars.
There will not be a day that goes by when the sun rises or the moon rises that I won't think of her.
We never know who will touch our lives so profoundly that we are forever changed.
But it is those changes that we love, learn, laugh and cry until we take our last breath. Because we are so full of life and we have so much life to live - so much love to give - so much grace we have yet to receive.
She was my friend, my compass of what it meant to be true north and true to myself - she was my moral and thoughtful conscience guiding me to that place in which I felt peace and had peace. I will forever miss her, my cherished friend - Gay.

Although this hurts to no longer have you here with us, on your way to your healing, we accept God's will!!!! He called you home, too soon for us, but in His timing and you answered the call! I am praying for you, Ms. Getrude, and the rest of the family!!! We know she's fine now and she's resting in peace! Thank you Gay, for being a great friend!!!
