my heart goes out to you and yours, nancy....we knew each other a very long time ago, and i still recall your and george's gentle commitment to each other and to your family. brooks kasson

Sandy and I were deeply saddened to learn of George's death. I'd seen him only a few weeks ago at UUMC. George had a quiet, calm quality and a wry presence that I found heartening. Now I feel bad that I never got to his son's restaurant in Naples, Florida, when I traveled to visit my father.

George always struck me as a remarkably kind and intelligent guy with a quiet self assurance about himself. He always listened perceptively during our conversations and had a subtle wit which I really liked. I will really miss him.

Nancy, I am so sorry, so sad, and hope you will find comfort in your sweet family.

Wednsday I lost one of my best friends and supporters. One of 3 ppl who have known me 52 years, all of my life... my dad George Sutton was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on Thursday. God took him home today. He suffered a lot of pain the last few days but finally there is no more pain for him which is most important. The first 25 years were a little rough but i am blessed to be the man he helped mold me into... my heart is broken right now. I love you Podge. Please watch over all of us we will make sure Mom is ok. I love you more than you know...
