James "Jimmy" Anthony Guillot
Austin - James "Jimmy" Anthony Guillot was born August 30, 1955 in New Orleans, LA and passed May 28, 2021 in Austin, TX.
Growing up in Louisiana, Jimmy loved days hanging out with grandparents and hunting and fishing with his nephews. He was awarded a scholarship to play football for Louisiana State University (LSU). Jimmy graduated from LSU with a degree in accounting and had a successful career as a CPA in both Louisiana and Texas.
Jimmy was known for his love of LSU football, photography, and smoking briskets for his family and friends. He loved his LSU football but happily became a Longhorn fan when he met his wife Sita. Anyone that knew Jimmy would be impressed by his memory to recall football stats. His love of photography meant trips, parties, weddings or just a simple dinner with family and friends were always documented in a special way. We will always be grateful for the memories he created with his camera. Another love of Jimmy was smoking briskets, ribs, and all types of barbeque for his friends and family. Seeing the people he loved enjoying his barbeque made him very happy.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Joseph Guillot and Dora Giroir Guillot, and by his nephew John Gordon and niece Michelle Gordon. He is survived by his beloved wife Sita Cilfone Guillot, nephew Patrick Gordon, siblings, and family members. Please join us for a memorial service, Thursday, June 10, 2021, 11:00AM - 3:00PM at The County Line on the Lake, 5204 FM 2222, Austin, Texas.
Please consider supporting a student athlete scholarship in Jimmy's honor in your community in lieu of sending flowers. Jimmy loved football; his scholarship to LSU was important in his life and allowed him to accomplish so much.

Jimmy was such a part of our family. There was not a kinder person on this earth. The memories that I will cherish forever not only because he was always capturing them with the camera but because he was a part of them. He truly made our moments special and I will forever be grateful. We think about him everyday whether we are cooking on our cast iron skillets that he gave us and coached us through taking care of properly, looking through our wedding album where he captured the night perfectly, or re-living our daughter's first trick or treat experience where he was right by our side. I will miss him forever but so grateful for the times we had together. Love you always Jimmy.

Hi Jimmy, this is your Brother Tommy. Very sad to know that you are gone. I remember the last time I saw you Jimmy was in 1999 in Houma and the last time we spoke was Christmas Day 2003. All through the years Me and Mama wanted to speak and see you again. I know she missed you very much. I pray that you are with Mama and Daddy and the rest....God Bless....Tommy

Brother Jimmy, I will miss you. Thank you for being such a good partner to my sister, Sita. Our family will miss your smiling face, your cooking skills, your thoughtfulness, your passion for football, and of course, your talent for capturing our special memories with your magic camera. No one can replace you, but know that your life partner, Sita, is surrounded with love and support.
