I said goodbye to this remarkable woman who was my "big sister" this weekend. It was sad but it was extra special because I got to spend time with Jan's wonderful family: Dick, Debbie, David, Jenny and John and their children, Jan's grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Dino, Katie, Zach and Sarah. Watching all of them say goodbye to their wife, mom and grandma was a treat. They put all their talent and love together to give her the best send-off a person could ask for. There were tears, poetry, songs and laughter, a few more tears and laughter thanks to this wonderful family. Thank you to all of them for helping me say goodbye to Jan.

Debbie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I was thinking about some of the great stories you shared with me about your parents and your Mom in particular. I was thinking about my last business trip to Austin, our get together and the stories you shared then. These stories reflect that your Mom was a wonderful lady and will be sorely missed. You and your family are very much in my prayers and thoughts.

Janice was a dear sweet friend
to me. I send my love and condolences out to the family.

She was the very first person that bought my needlepoint canvases, my biggest fan and was
always giving me ideas for new Santa's.

I will miss her very much, love and hugs to you all, Petei
