What a loss of a young musician. I remember his wit and humor as a fellow teacher at Brookmayes Music. He shall be missed in this world.

So sorry to hear this. Jim was our favorite guitar instructor and was a huge part of our success in the music retail business in Round Rock.

I remember Jim working with Andy Lalino and the belly dancers at Busch Gardens

Jim was an incredible insperation. When I started at Busch Gardens he was my role model. He could play anything at all the shows, effortlessly. Full of energy and never a bad word. Literally! He was a mentor to so many people. As always, through all the many things he taught me, he will be at my next gig.

I worked with Jim at many shows at Busch Gardens...by far the best was "Buddy and the Wisers"...where they actually let the "audio guy" be a part of the show! I also ran sound for several years with his Christian Rock Band "Temple"...great and fun days! Jim was a great musician and great friend. We had some really fun times together! Matthew, Gretchen, Stephanie and Halyn, I don't know if you remember me however: my heart goes out to you and know that you are in my prayers, as are the rest of the family, during this hard time.

You were a great father and Matthew, Gretchen, Stephanie and Halyn will make you proud. You touched many people throughout your lifetime and all of us are the better for knowing you. You were and still are one hell of a musician and I hope you are looking down on us right now, playing a Gibson ES 345 (see... I WAS listening!). And don't worry... I already told this kids the bird story.
