Ms. Champion was my homeroom teacher and choir director during my high school years. She was soft spoken, beautiful and graceful. Her glamour was like a movie star, which I always thought she should be. She was loved and admired. Margie

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Champion, but as a current member of the Travis County Historical Commission I am familiar with the families history and Bull Creek. My sincerest condolences. Richard Denney, Travis County Historical Commission.

My wife, Jackie Odom Browning, and I knew Josie and Juanita when we were at the U. T. Wesley Foundation (1947-1949) and attended University United Methodist Church. We always admired and appreciated them both. We enjoyed renewing our acquaintance briefly at a meeting of the Knife and Fork Club a few years ago when we were guests of Rev. and Mrs. Bill Harris. Our condolences to Juanita, Josie's nieces and nephews, and all who knew and loved her.
