Shalon, a woman of integrity, strength, beauty, and love. She laughed with passion, loved with her being, and lived life to the fullest. She gave to those all she had, even when she had nothing left. It was an honor and pleasure to have met you, talked to you, love you, and spend time with you when we visit Austin. I will cherish our conversation we had this past July. Although we were not blood, we still called you family. I will miss you! Rest easy sis, you fought the good fight. Until we meet again.
Love from your family in Ohio

I remember when I first met you 17 years ago. You had a great spirit about you. A beautiful woman inside and out. You helped a lot of people along the way and for that we are all truly grateful. You were truly a blessing to all of those who knew you. You will be missed, RIP my friend.
