Dear Mrs. Steadman, Kim and all the family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Steadman. He was a funny and kind soul. I know God is protecting him and comforting you in your loss. I was just looking in the obituaries to place a memorial for Mark's birthday, when I saw this announcement. You may not know that I lost Mark last year on October 21st, so I really do understand your sadness. God bless you all.

Patty, Kim, Mark and family, so very sorry to hear of Leroy's passing. Several fond memories of time at Leroyal Palace. I remember 'Roy Jean' always being a lot of fun and having a laugh ready. Keeping you in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Chief Steadman's passing. I worked with him at the Austin Fire Department as did my husband Richard. We both thought the world of him. We worked together when he was a Shift Commander on 5th street and I was an administrative assistant. Chief Steadman was so much fun to work with and always treated me with the utmost respect. In fact, he always looked after me making sure everyone else treated me well. In fact, my husband nicknamed him my "Fire Daddy"! He was such a good man.

Sincere condolences to all of the family.
