Our hearts are sadden and grieved. Its so much I can say about my sister-in-Christ. Her undying Love of God and his people, her sweet smile, her humble spirit. Her unwavering faith manifested in her daily walk. She is truly missed. Rest in peace Sister Collins. May God Bless your Family.

Rest in peace, Dear Friend. I worked with Mae in the Astronomy Department at UT from 1968 until 1970. She was a true friend and classy lady who was loved by everyone. My husband was an APD officer and her husband Alvin was a UT officer. We socialized often during those days and stayed in touch for many years after I moved on to work at IBM always exchanging Christmas greetings. She was a true woman of faith and Heaven has gained an angel. Our deepest condolences to her many friends and family. Howard and Sharon Hall

Sis. Collins was beautiful and thoughtful servant of God. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her family and all those who worked with her at East Ninteenth Street Baptist Church, St. John District, and auxiliaries throughout the State and National Conventions. May God give you strength for this time and hope for the future.

I had known Mae since Peggyann and I came to Austin in 1971. I could never have logged onto any of the UT main-frames at that time without her help. She is missed. Rest in peace, Mae!
