My deepest condolences to the family. Margie will be waiting at the pearly gates.

I wanted to share a story with you about my mother, Flo Johnson, and Aunt Margie. As I'm sure most of you know, they were best friends for half a century.
Years ago they decided to share a spa day, at the Lake Austin Spa Resort, and they were chatting it up, while getting pedicures. The manicurist assumed by their conversation, that they were a couple, and asked How long have you two been together?. Margie said, Oh forever! I guess about 46 years. Mother, realizing that Aunt Margie, innocently, did not recognize the implication, chimed in ... and she's the love of my life!. They both got a big kick out of that, and truly shared a great love for each other. Aunt Margie was part of my family for my entire life. It was an honor, and a privilege for me, and my daughters, to call her Aunt Margie. Truthfully she captivated such a huge place in my heart, that I revered her as more than an Aunt. She was to me, like a second mother. I loved her so dearly! I can't imagine my life, without her in it. She will forever be in my heart.

Our sweet precious Aunt Margie will be greatly missed! She's not actually my aunt but, as she did with so many others, she always made me feel part of her family so it felt right to call her Aunt. She was always so full of joy and made everyone around her feel special. Margie was one tough lady, she was so sharp and always spoke her mind! She had a smile that lit up the room and was always ready for a party or a game of poker!
I adored her and will miss her deeply! My heart aches for our loss!

We met Margie in the Cedars of Lebanon Club. She was an amazing cook and never came to a meeting without a delicious Lebanese dish. She was proud of her heritage and was quick to share a smile and her stories. She will be missed by all of us.
