With heavy hearts we send our deepest condolences in the loss of your beloved loved one. Dr Milton Nirken , to us, was an Angel send to us from Heaven, when we desperately needed him to care for our very ill daughter. We truly believe that he was placed in our lives by God. Dr Nirken was the best of the best and no one could ever take his place. He was an awesome doctor and a very caring human being. He alway remembered each and everyone of his patients and what kind of illness each and everyone had, and that meant so much to us. Thank you for sharing this wonderful man with us. He will never be forgotten!

God Bless You and May he Rest in Peace

I am so sorry for your loss. I starting working for your Dad back in the 70's. He gave me my nickname. He said he was going to call me"Lou" because he was far too busy to be saying "Mary Lou" all the time and it stuck. That is what I still go by. He was always so proud of all of you.

With deepest sympathy,

Lou Nelson

To all of Dr. Nirken's family we offer our deepest condolences. Dr. Nirken came into our lives when Dr. Mintz retired. From the moment we met Dr Nirken, we fell in love with the sweetest, loveable and heartfelt man in the world. My children adored him. They never feared him, were always happy to see him. I remember when the boys got older, my husband and I were at Texas Children's Hospital visiting my niece, when I heard my name being called. It was Dr Nirken. He asked for the boys, who were already grown, and remembered some of their illnesses. That was the last time we saw him, but we never forgot him and have always wished him blessings for being "Dr. Nirken". What a loss, such a wonderful human being and an example of how we should all be in life. God bless him always. Rest In Peace our dear Dr. Nirken.
