I am utterly heartbroken about this great loss. My heart breaks for the family. Mitch was a sweet, kind friend of mine on the internet. We never met but I always considered him to be a friend. His upbeat disposition was refreshing. I cannot fathom the pain and suffering the family is going through as a result of losing him and his mother. I pray for all those close to him. Rest In Peace and I will miss your friendship, Mitchie the kid. Truly a beautiful heart.

Mitchell, Today as we say goodbye to you I will always remember your kind spirit and your big smile. You made so many people feel special by capturing those memories when you took pictures with your i-pad. You will never be forgotten and will always be missed. Praying for your family.

Mitchell was always the kindest, dearest friend all of our years together in school. After reuniting several years ago on FB... his beautiful heart remained the same. I will always remember Mitchell with very fond memories and love. My deepest and sincerest sympathies to the Perales family. Praying for strength, peace, and endurance.

I have known Mitchell since the 5th grade at Molly Dawson Elementary. We had the same homeroom teacher, Mrs. Jackson. One of my favorite memories is when we had to sit in the courtyard area during the heat of day to watch the 6th graders graduate. Mitchell was sitting next to Mrs. Jackson (if you remember now strict she was - never seemed to be smiling). Well this big grasshopper jumped up next to Mitchell and he was so surprised, his eyes wide as he showed us all with his hands spread wide and said, "That grasshopper was this big" - his hands spread wide. It was so funny to see, Mrs. Jackson just started laughing as we all did who saw the "BIG" grasshopper. I will always hold that memory in my mind and heart. Mitchell was such a kind and gentle soul. He was so smart and always won our trivia challenges. He will be missed a great deal.
