TIEFEL, John Stowell John Stowell Tiefel, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October, 3rd, 2017. He was born on July 25th, 1931 in Rochester, NY. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelors in Business. John enlisted in the Air Force and served his country for 4 years. John married his wife, Mary-Ann Mueller Tiefel on August 2nd 1958. They had three children, John who resides in Kansas City, Greg and Susan Peck both reside in Cedar Park, Texas. He has 10 Grandchildren. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company, for 28 years. He moved his family to Austin in 1978. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alberta Tiefel, and Sister, Jane Brem. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October, 7th, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church located at 10205 north FM 620, Austin, TX 78726. A reception will follow mass at Brennan Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of John S. Tiefel to Guiding Hospice 2851 Joe Dimaggio Blvd. Bldg. 2 Ste 4 Round Rock, Tx 78759, phone 512-368-7275.
