PRYOR Jr., William Evans William Evans Pryor, Jr. passed away on September 22, 2017. Bill was born in Austin, Texas at Seton Hospital on December 30, 1962 to Paula Berthelot Pryor and William Evans Pryor. He resided in Houston until 1972 before moving to Refugio, Texas where his mother's family had historical roots. Bill attended school in Refugio, Texas from the fourth grade until his graduation from Refugio High School. He attended University of Texas where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and graduated with a degree in Economics. He was preceded in death by his father, William Evans Pryor and step-father, Daniel Braman Miller. He is survived by his mother, Paula Berthelot of Georgetown, his brother, Edmund Randolph Pryor, his sisters, Paula Elizabeth Millerand Mary Anne Pryor. He is also survived by his step sister, Deborah Rhodes and step brother, Daniel B. Miller Jr. Bill was devoted to his grandmother, Mary Margaret Pickering Berthelot and his grandfather, Paul Pierre Berthelot who resided in Victoria, Texas. He spent a great deal of time with them as a young child. Before moving to Austin in 1994 Bill resided in Houston where he went to work for Merril Lynch upon his graduation from college. He worked in the investment business until moving to Austin. In recent years Bill has been a successful real estate broker. Growing up in South Texas, Bill very much enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 on October 7, 2017 at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6300 North Lamar, Austin, Texas 78752. Saddened and devastated by Bill's untimely passing. So many fond memories of him as a young child and young adult. Sadly in France until the 16th or I would be at the services. Condolences to all his family.
