Dear Jay, Cynthia, your respective spouses, Sarah, and the rest of Ryan's family,

I am stunned and heartbroken for you all. John (Lyttle, my son) just found out about Ryan's passing on Monday night and told me yesterday morning. I can picture Ryan and John playing as kids like it was yesterday, and I just hurt for you. Please know that you're in my thoughts.

Jay, I`m struck with grief at the enormity of your loss. You and Cynthia have my thoughts and wishes for the comfort that might be derived from memories of happier times. Bless Ryan and his youthful spirit.

Jay & Carol,
It has been our privilege to pray for your family in the past weeks while sharing time with Carol at Bible study. I cannot imagine your present heartache, but please know those prayers continue as you walk, one day at a time, into this new normal. Although we can't understand or know your pain, we all know our heavenly father does, so we pray for His comfort, peace, and strength to be especially felt during this time.
