As a First Cousin, my one regret is not being able to visit her and Carl more often due to the distance from Virginia Beach, VA . I know she was looking forward to her move to Austin Texas area. It is sad she did not have more time there.
She will be missed.

I am devastated to learn of Sherry's passing. She was such a vital, loving person, with many interests. She was gregarious and perceptive. She was so kind when my son passed away, a tragic experience we shared because she had also lost Alex, her son. On a happier note, I loved the tropical parties she hosted with Carl: palm trees and Hawaiian shirts in the dead of winter! How sorry I am not to have had a chance to converse with her in these few recent years. She will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Carl. His loss is incalculable.

Sherry was a vital member of our University of Akron Women's Club Book Review group. We often met at her home in Stow to discuss the latest selection. It was with a sad heart that we saw her move to Texas, knowing that we would miss her vivacious personality. Now, Sherry lives on in our memories. Our condolences to Carl and her family.
