KRIZOV, Walter John On October 7, 2017, Walter John Krizov, 91, died peacefully of natural causes. Walter was born September 5, 1926 on Avenue B in Austin and a graduate of Austin High. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for S.W. Bell for 36 years. Walter is survived by his wife Maxine of 70 years, daughters Paula Hoffman and Clair Krizov; grandchildren W. John Hoffman (Brenda) and Elizabeth Brown (Travis); great-granddaughters Lillian Grace and Evelyn Anne; sister-in-law Doodie Lawler (Jack); many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Walter loved anything family-related including the family pets, celebrating Christmas, daily walks, morning coffee with friends, quiet time in a deer stand, riding his tractor in Bertram, watching squirrels steal bird feed, the American flag, boat rides/skiing on Lake Travis, and the TV remote control. He was an avid hunter-turkey, quail, deer and dove. Walter was the epitome of 'What you see is what you get.' He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Krizov, Jr. and Clara B. Krizov, brother Paul Krizov and son-in-law William H. Hoffman, III. Thank you to Hospice Austin and Heart Hospital of Austin Doctors Thomas, Rodriguez, McMinn, Mann, Rana, their nursing staff and Remington Johnson. A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be W. John Hoffman, Travis Brown, Wayne Langehennig, Bob Perry, Ken Teinert, Steve Robinson, Craig Robinson and Jeff Lawler. For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him,
For my hope is from Him.

He only is my rock and my salvation;
My fortress and my defense, I will not be shaken or discouraged.
7
On God my salvation and my glory rest;
He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God.

Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him.
God is a refuge for us.
