There is an old saying that, Any man can be a father but it takes a special man to be a dad and an even better one to be a Paw Paw. Tommy has been that man. He was proud of his family and loved his kid's, grand kids and his great grandson more than you know. Tommy was a dedicated man with razor like focus when it came to his family and work. In today's throw away world it is unusual for marriages to last BUT not for Tommy. He and Shirleen just celebrated there 50TH anniversary. Friendships are not valued by many now a days BUT not for Tommy, he and Shirleen have been best friends for over 55 years, and I like many of you have had the pleasure and Honor to call him a friend for many years. I gave him a nickname over 20yrs ago for a reason Grumpy but he had a heart bigger than life. He has been a loyal friend to many that others didn't trust or care for and would give the shirt off his back to help you if he knew you needed it. He has been my BEST friend for over 25 years and we have been thru a lot of up's and downs in life together. We have talked on the phone at least twice a day Monday thru Friday for years. Usually not on the weekends since he knew that was my family time to be with my grandkids and family so we only talked once a day then. I always knew he was there for me (just not between 10 and 11 when the Price is Right was on). It's also rare to see people stay at their jobs long term nowadays BUT not for Tommy. He has been in our crazy mbl home business longer than most and has been one of the most respected mbl home movers in Texas. Most all of the movers in the Austin area have either been helped by, trained by or put in business by or have bought their trucks from Tommy.
A Great Guy, a Great Husband Dad Friend and My BEST Friend
The world is a lesser place without him
We will miss you Tommy Sager We Love you buddy

Hi I am Kelly Resech a friend and co-worker to Faith. I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas on a few different occasions at family functions and other events. He was a very friendly and caring man. He loved and cared for his family very well and will be deeply missed. Heaven gained a wonderful angel and hope to meet him again one day in heaven. Rest in peace.

Pawpaw,

I just wanted to say Thank you for accepting me into your family and treating me like one of your own. I am so thankful for the time I got to know you and be around you. All of the memories I have I will cherish forever. Thank you for all that you have done for Brad, Garrett, & I. You were just like my own grandfather and I will miss you. I'm so glad Garrett got to get to know you and we will be sure to tell him many stories about you. I know Brad misses you every day and I know he is thankful to have learned everything he knows from you. I sure do miss you giving him a hard time and laughing about it but don't worry, I'll Be sure to throw some jokes at him every now and then for you.
We love and miss you oh so much and I know you are here every day with everyone.

Love always,
Tayler
