I will always cherish my friendship and advise from Wanda during all her years at the State Capitol where I still remain to this day. She was a mentor, confidante, and friend to me. Her smile and kindness were contagious. Jesse

So many special and great memories as she was part of my life for so long.

Bill, I have so many wonderful memories of Wanda. She and I were like sisters, not sisters-in-law. I will miss her even though the last few years our communications have been less often. The memories of us raising our babies together in Georgetown are precious to me. We learned together!! Words do not express how much you and Wanda have meant to me through the years. My heart goes out to you and your family. I love you! May

Bill, I'm sorry for your loss. Wanda and I were in the same grade at Baker School in the 1930s and early 1940s, next UJH, and then Austin High School, where we graduated in 1948. Many, many years later we rekindled our friendship when she and I served on the committee to plan and carry out reunions of the Austin High Class of 1948 (later the classes of '47, '48, '49, and '50). We missed her when she had to retire and still think of her fondly as a very dedicated person and friend.
