I was so sad to hear of Alvin's passing. I went to school with him for 12 years. St. Luke's Grade School and Woodburn High School. Al will be missed. May God bless and keep you while you grieve.

I was very shocked when I found out my Uncle Al had passed away on Tuesday. I have known Alvin all my life and I always admired him because I knew he was good and honest man, he commanded respect from his peers and Love from his family. I spent the day looking for some photos of my Uncle to share so here is one I liked. I regret I cannot attend his Memorial on Monday due to my work. I know my Uncle Al would understand. I have been Memorizing him everyday. I wish to convey my deepest sympathies to Alvins wife and life partner Nancy for always having your husbands back and unwavering Love to his kids and rest of the family. I will always miss my Uncle Alvin but his spirt will always be with us, from everything he has taught us in life we will carry on his spirt with us until we all meet again.

A great mentor and best father in law a person could ask for. He gave me the greatest gifts in my life, his daughter and his family. He never complained even through his battle. He always told me every day he saw his reflection was going to be a good day. I will keep that thought forever. Al,everyday I think of you will be a good day. I know where you are now is a better place because of you.
