Condolences from the Shavrnoch family. Mike was a great neighbor for many years and will be missed.

I lived at BattleCreek for many years, as did many of my family members. Chuck and Marilyn both became good friends to me and my family, as well as many others there. They were always willing to help others and ask for nothing in return. They enjoyed humor and always laughed at my stupid jokes, even my silly nick-name for Chuck. (Wood-Chuck). Chuck really impressed me with his caring ways, especially one incident where he mentored a little 5 year old boy (Zak) who desperately needed a friend. Zak followed Chuck around like a little puppy dog while literely talking non-stop. Chuck patiently listened, answered questions and treasured the little guy, which made a very positive impact on Zak's life. To know them was to love them; Prayers to the family as they deal with this painful loss. Rest in Peace together Chuck and Marilyn.
