Dear Sue,

I'm so sorry to hear about Dan's death. I wanted to say how much I remember about Dan's humor. We haven't seen each other at all since our college graduation, so I want to give my condolences and wish the best for you and your family. Patty Winter Wiggin

So sorry to read of Barney's death in the Linfield Magaine. He was a great basketball teammate and friend. In fact, I was just watching the Oklahoma-Oklahoma State men's basketball game tonight when I was amazed by the play of OSU's feisty little point guard Phil Forte. I said to myself an hour ago "That kid plays just like Barney!" Then I came to bed to read the sad news. "Barney, there will never be another one like you!" Love ya, Carp (Scott Carpenter '76)

Susan and Family, It was with great sorrow that I learned Dec.11th of Dans death. Tho we had not stayed in close touch we could always take up where we left off. We played a lot of golf together at Sprinhill along with Killer and others and I loved his quick wit and passion for the game. Most importantly we shared of our faith in Jesus together often and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. I'm so sorry I did not know of this sooner so I could have honored Him at his service but I will honor him by praying for your family in this difficult time. I loved Barney. I'm so sorry for your loss. Dean Roberts
