Anna,
I am so sorry to hear about David's passing. I was not only his classmate but his neighbor across the road. We both grew up on farms. I knew he had dementia and was in a nursing home for some time. My husband also was in a nursing home with dementia and passed away last year. I hope you find comfort in your fun times together in years past.

Thank you Anne for sending me the notice of David's passing. Even though i knew that he was in the hospital, the news still hit me hard. I liked him very much and remember fond things about our time as high school classmates. When we had class reunions, we always tried to get him back to Minnesota so we could chat and remember. Living so far away made that difficult. Our class trip to the Black Hills in 1955 was special to all of us. David was my roommate during that time. I never got to see him again after graduation with me moving away and going to college and he entering the Army and he moving away. I remember him playing basketball and his smile. Yes, he will be missed but the memories will remain.
