Dennis L. Blaco

July 1st 1942 - April 1st 2021

Dennis was born in Salem, Oregon on July 1st 1942, the third child of Wayne and Janette (Dasch) Blaco and passed with family by his side at OHSU in Portland on April 1st 2021.

His early years were spent on the Dasch farm at 660 Boone Road, where he loved to roam, and eventually lived from 1972 to 1984 with his wife Julie (Marz) and four children: Dan, Rick, Debbie and Sandie.

The business Savvy he gained from co-owning a carpet-cleaning operation in Salem led to the formation of a roofing partnership and then to the establishment Blaco & Company, where he was CEO until 1998. From 2000 until his passing he owned and operated Blaco Rentals.

Dennis is survived by his four children, Dan, Rick, Debbie and Sandie; one brother, Loren; five grandchildren, Dan Jr., Rachael, Madie, Celeste and Makiila; one great grandchild, Lincoln; and six nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; one older brother and his wife Julie.

Dennis was a joy to have as a father-in-law. We had many conversations about varies topics that were truly inspiring. Debbie and I will miss his favorite quote: 'oh, come on!'
