Gary was my neighbor growing up on State Street. Five years older than me and my younger brothers, he stuck up for us like a big brother many times. I am not in the least bit surprised that he helped others throughout his life. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

They don't come any finer and better than this wonderful man. Uncle Gary was an inspiration to me through life and inspired me in my school work when I returned to college to obtain my degree. Gary was an over comer and I am sure an inspiration for many. I am so proud that he is my uncle, I love him dearly and will miss him. I have such fond memories of him from my child hood up to the last time I saw him in September of this year. One of my favorite and most treasured memories is when he honored me by walking me down the aisle at my wedding renewal that we did in 2013 so Phil and I could have a wedding ceremony with all the loved ones who could not make it to Australia for the Wedding. Gary is a blessing to me and to everyone who he came in contact with. We are all better people for having known him.
My only regret is that I cannot be there at the moment with our family physically. I am there however, in spirit, mind and heart.

I always loved my cousin Gary. I remember him in our childhood as fun and caring. I always looked up to and respected him. He had so many challenges in his lifetime and not only met them head on, but far exceeded and paved a road for others to follow. I will miss him and my love goes out to Ella and his family. The world is less one angel but heaven gained one.
