Although we never met Gloria, she sounds like a wonderful person. During the 1960s, my wife and I along with our two young sons, lived in Salem for five years and, at the time, Gerald was married to my late niece, Sharon Hargitt Bennett. Our kids often played together at "aunt Marge's home. Gerald was a good athlete and the two of us had many "hard-fought" basketball and ping pong games as well as playing about 10,000 hours of Poker. Overall, I guess you'd say we broke even. Sorry to say that we sort of lost touch for many years but I always look back on Gerald with a great deal of fondness. For awhile there, he was the brother I never had. Rest in peace, old buddy.

Congratulations Gloria and Gerry, you have made it to the best part of eternity, with your loving Creator. Thank you for your light in this world, your hospitality, and for showing us how important our relationships to God and others is. Bill and Bobbie Lindekugel
