I had the honor of working with Harley for a little over a year. He was kind, patient, and truly cared about impacting student's lives with his teaching. He had an amazing sense of humor and always brought a smile to everyone who was around him.

I have so many fond memories of him and will miss him a lot.

I came in to work every day very early. Harley would be the next person to come in every morning. I would hear him shuffle down the hall toward the adjunct office area that was across the hall, and he would say good morning or I would as he passed. We would sometimes talk about students or life near the copy machine. I miss his presence and have found myself occasionally saying, "Good morning, Harley" as I enter the building early in the morning or pass by the adjunct room even though I know he won't answer me any more. I miss his knowing he is here as I am sure his students do, too.
