Offering my deepest condolences during this difficult time to all the family. May the wonderful memories you have get you through this difficult time. She was such a beautiful lady, inside and out, a true heart of the Lord, and it shined through to everyone she came in contact with, and in the family she raised. She will be missed greatly. God is getting a true Angel!

I had the privilege of meeting and working with Joann in food service for the Stayton school district. She was elegant, sweet, kind, funny, and full of energy. She could be a spitfire if she got upset about something but would get over it and move on. I remember one of the things she would always say was "whoopie whoop" if something was no big deal or didn't amuse her. It still makes me laugh thinking about her saying it. She was a hard worker who was fun to work with. She talked about how wonderful her sons were and how they were so good to her. She and I talked about our faith and though she will be missed I know I will see her in heaven some day. May the Lord comfort her sons, and the rest of her family. Peace and comfort to you, Dawn

We lived next door to Joann for 13 years and she was the best neighbor and friend you could ever have. My love and prayers are with the family during this time. I loved Joann and can't wait to see her, again, in Heaven!
