I met Mary Lou 60 years ago at Skateland in Salem, Oregon, We played Volley Ball together, and of course Bowling. We re pregant together with two of our children, giving each other baby showers. Plus used the same baby sitter for our kids. I loved her dearly and got a kick out of her. She was a very special and funny lady.

My Mom shared a room at Hope Village with Mary Lou last year. She was one of the sweetest ladies I'd ever met...very concerned about my Mom and Dad. She asked one of the therapists if she could get in her chair and sit with Mom if Dad had to leave, to make sure Mom didn't fall out of bed. While I only knew her for a couple short months...she touched me deeply with her compassion. Our family is so sorry to hear of her passing. The Guttormsen Family
