Pat was dear to me. Always encouraging, and supportive. I knew that she was genuine with her love. She had a hunger to learn and keep her mind active. At 96 she asked for lessons to learn how to use a desktop computer to keep in touch with family after her web t.v. service became obsolete. She'd get frustrated with herself when she wasn't able to retain the information right away, but by golly, she'd be there the next day ready to learn more and keep practicing. She frequented activities to learn about exotic countries and try new foods. Pat always participated in craft lessons. I miss her intelligent conversation and beautiful smile. I'm so glad to have had the pleasure of knowing her.
