My sincere condolences for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with Patty's family members at this time. I grew up with the Rauch kids in the early years on Weirich Road outside of Lebanon. I'm the same age as her brother Matt so played with Tom, Mary, Matt, Patty and Paul. I attended St. Edwards in the 1st grade and remember riding to and from school as Dorothy and my mom some times took turns driving. It was as near to a Norman Rockwell childhood as any kid could have. Auggie made sure the kids had outdoor activities to keep them healthy and out of trouble. I especially remember long afternoons on the trampoline, it was sooo much fun! Sometimes the bigger boys would "Launch" us high into the air... amazingly no broken bone that I remember. Also played basketball and tennis on the big paved court, it was awesome. We golfed around the big green lawn and slid down hills of brown grass outback on boards covered with "Tedlar" siding from the plywood mill where Auggie worked. When the plastic wore off we moved on to wagons and bicycles, going way faster than was safe but sill no injuries. We drank from plastic hoses, rode in cars and pick-up trucks without seat belts and other dangerous things and loved it all. I remember little things about the amazing house the family lived in and have no idea how many bedrooms it must have had? Was it 3-stories, it had an upstairs and basement, loved the dumb waiter and wooden stairway and handrails. There was lots of cool nooks and crannies for playing hide and seek. I can see it like it was yesterday. We did not keep in touch as we grew up but I will miss her. I hope the Lord's peace will comfort all from their pain and sorrow in the days a head.

I considered Patty a true friend whom I shall miss dearly.Life was definitely cut way too short for you and i'm thankful for the time we were friends.
Sorry I'm unable to get to your celebration of life but my thoughts are with you, your family and friends.
See you on the other side.

I'm so sorry to hear that we've lost Patty. She was so much more than a coworker at LEDS. She was a friend and confidante as well. The world is a lesser place without her in it and I will surely miss her. May God bless and comfort her many friends and family.
