I adopted Aunt Rena as my own when I met and married her nephew, Larry, a mere 25 years ago.

She was always the icon of love and kindness in our lives, and I shall always cherish the times that I was able to spend with her.

Farewell, Sweet Rena, we shall meet again.

Love you, Frieda

My Dearest Aunt Rena,
You were part of my life since the day I was born, more than 72 years ago.
You changed my diaper and hugged me when I cried. Throughout my life, you served as a model of decency and compassion.
Goodbye for now, and I pray that I can be worthy to join you in heaven when my time here is finished.
Love, Larry

I knew Rena when I worked summers in the Classified Ad section of the newspaper. She was so nice to me and I remember her and her sense of humor to this day.

Rena was a wonderful woman who absolutely adored her family. In addition to all of the amazing qualities and skills listed in the obituary, she was an excellent cook who loved to try new and original recipes. She was a great listener. Rena always had an open ear and gave sound advice based on love and common sense. She was a kind, understanding person. Her beauty and light lives on in her family.
