Aunt Sharon brought the party! She danced the Charleston at my eldest daughter's first birthday party, in 1985.
Sometime in the latter part of the 1960's there was a costume party. Jim and Sharon met at my parents house for last minute costume adjustments. Uncle Jim and Aunt Sharon went dressed as Sonny and Cher. They were very convincing. My dad Ted went dressed as a "China-man." His only frame of reference was Hop Sing from Bonanza. Us kids got to see the hilarious dress rehearsal. There was a chorus of "I Got You Babe," while Aunt Sharon practiced holding one wrist limp, and flinging back, her long black hair.
You made a difference Aunt Sharon, and now you know how much.
Love to Uncle Jim and Aaron,
Denice

I met Sharon when I first moved to Stayton many many years ago. She was so kind and supportive to me when I worked at Girod's Market and helped me with advertising for the store and the activities for the community that I organized.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. God give her husband and family strength as they grieve her. May you rest in angels arms, Sharon.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Sharon. Not only was she a great employee at the Stayton Mail, she was a wonderful friend. She will be missed.
