Woodburn - Tarchechee Martin Chambers,65,of Woodburn, OR, passed away Sunday,March 28th,2021.He was surrounded by his loving family.
Tarchechee(Toch) was born August 11th,1955 to John and Juanita Chambers of Silverton,OR. He spent most of his childhood growing up there with his seven siblings and made life long friendships. He joined the National Guard in 1977. He eventually moved to Missouri to be close to family living there. He enjoyed hunting,fishing and morel mushroom hunting.Most of all he enjoyed being with his family,he loved making people laugh and he loved to dance.He enjoyed card games with family and the occasional trip to the casinos.
In 2014 he reconnected with a girl from grade school,Kathy, and they married in May of 2015,in Missouri. The following January,they moved back to their homestate of Oregon. They had many wonderful adventures together,never a dull moment.They shared many experiences,made memories with family and lots of laughter along the way. Tarchechee was always willing to help anyone who needed him,often putting their needs above his own. He was very loved by all his family and friends. He took great pride in his kids,stepkids,grandkids,stepgrand kids and great grandson. He was also very proud of his Cherokee Heritage.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Kathy(Dunn). Brothers John Q. Chambers; David(Maryon) Chambers.Sisters Christine(Jeff) Silna; Judy(Jim) Didlot. Son Joshua(Audra) Daughters Misty (Steven) Bishop; Melodie Chambers.Stepson Dustin(Debbie) Lewis. Stepdaughter Molly (Paul) Nix. Grandsons Kyle,Trent and Draven. Granddaughters Macey,Brianna,MacKenzie and Harper. Stepgrandsons Cole and Donovan. Stepgranddaughter Hailey. Great grandson Auggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents,brothers Joseph and Richard,sisters Nita Ann and Joyce. Granddaughter McKayla.
A Celebration of Life is planned at Coolidge McClain State Park in Silverton,OR on Saturday,April 17th at noon.
