Dear Jane and family,

Thoughts and prayers to you. Flash and I grew up together and were friends since before 1st grade. We last connected at NHS's Last Hurrah a few years back. When JIM was at Great Lakes in the Navy in 59 he came to visit me at my college. Had a great visit.

Rest In Peace Flash.

Jane, so sorry to learn things the hard way through an encounter of a friend of we both.
I saw you and Jim at The Tides some months ago. It was then I learned that there were grave days ahead. I thought of you two, knowing time was limited but had hoped that somehow I'd see Jimmy again. How I enjoyed his and your company is hard, particularly, now that he's gone. I wish I had spent many more opportunities to share and laugh, sing with him, again,as well. How he loved Danny Boy.
I hope we see you again more often, after you recover from the grief you've been through. You are much loved,as he, your Jimmy.
Now, he gets to play all the greatest golf courses in the clouds.
With deepest love and respect.
Jack Allen (JW)
